Music by BAMSO musicians from 3 pm to 5 pm. Mayor of Blue Ash, Jill Cole, and Mayor of Montgomery, Ron Messer, duke it out in a friendly competition from 5 pm to 7 pm to see who can raise the most money. ​Music in the evening by VelvaSheen and food trucks delights available for purchase.​ This event does not require tickets or reservations. More...​

Begin your week with a time of reflection as you hear ancient texts of prayer and praise sung by the Christ Church Cathedral Choir. Music will include Harold Darke’s “O Gladsome Light,” the St. Peter in Westminster Service by Herbert Howells, Responses by Stephan Casurella, and Horatio Parker’s “Light’s Glittering Morn Bedecks the Sky.”  Reception following.
 

Organ Recital | Abraham Wallace

May 11, 2025 | 3:00 - 4:15pm
Cathedral organist Abraham Wallace performs on the cathedral’s Richards, Fowkes & Co. Opus 24 organ. The program will include works by Julius Reubke, William Grant Still, Jehan Alain, George Walker, and Marcel Dupré. Suggested donation: $15. Reception following.

Christ Church Music Live at Lunch

The Southbank Quartet, in residence at the Immanuel School of Music, was formed in 2012. Known as “musicians at work,” all members are dedicated to the community’s needs, with a focus on youth outreach and enrichment.

Pork City Slim's music style is a blend of blues, soul, and Americana with a sound characterized by soulful vocals, guitar-driven melodies, bluesy harmonica riffs, and foot-stomping rhythms. Primary influences are delta blues, chicago blues, southern soul and roots music. Expect a dynamic, energetic performance with storytelling through lyrics, infectious grooves, and improvisational solos.

Kyle Meadows (hammered dulcimer)

Kyle has a comfortable, almost effortless approach to his instrument, and to the many songs he adapts to it. He plays for a variety of events including festivals, parties, weddings, and receptions, and performs healing music in hospices, hospitals, and oncology centers for the Cincinnati Arts Association’s Arts in Healing program.

The Queen City Sisters

May 20, 2025
This acapella women’s trio dazzles audiences with their tight harmony arrangements of songs from the 1930’s through the 1950s. The group was formed in 2013 based on the desire to bring a touch of old Hollywood glamour to Cincinnati area audiences. Classic songs by Rosemary Clooney, Doris Day, the Andrews Sisters, and more round out our entertaining song list.

 

Bacchanal Steel Band

The Bacchanal Steel Band is Cincinnati's premiere Caribbean ensemble, featuring instruments made from 55-gallon oil barrels. Since 1998, the band has been entertaining and educating around the tri-state and beyond with its combination of calypso, soca, reggae, pop, and classical music.

Journey to Türkiye
Wednesday, July 30, 2025 | 7:30 pm

We start this season with a trip to the former center of the Ottoman Empire, which introduced kahve (coffee) to Europe, and inspired composers to include pseudo-Turkish melodies and themes in their work. Join our Summermusik Woodwind Quintet and Turkish musicians led by co-curator Óscar Salamanca as they explore traditional and modern Turkish music and the influences of the Ottoman Empire on Western classical music.
