2012 CHAMBERPALOOZA

CMN's 7th Annual "ChamberPalooza" Event

The Chamber Music Network presented its Fifth annual celebration of chamber music at the Cincinnati Art Museum as they have every September for five years. This tradition is always a huge success and lots of fun to bring your family to for music and activities.

2012 ChamberPalooza

The 2012 ChamberPalooza was held on September 8, 2012 in the Great Hall of the Cincinnati Art Museum. During the event there were several short chamber music sampler concerts that people could sit and listen to as they walked through the museum. Families with children could be entertained by several activities for children, such as a musical instrument "petting" zoo and a scavenger hunt. Drawings were held throughout the event and a number of gift grab bags were given as prizes. Everyone had fun, it was free, and there was something to interest everyone! Don't miss Chamberpalooza 2013 the second Saturday on September 14, 2013.

Many of the groups performing were members of the Chamber Music Network. We heard concerts by the Ohio River Brass Quintet, the BACH Association, the Elliott Duo, the Camilli Ensemble, the Crescendo Chamber Music Ensemble, Ubi Caritas, the Xavier Duo and the Cincinnati Camerata.

The Art Museum is handicap accessible with ramps and an elevator and there are ample handicap parking spots. The Palooza event is free and entry to the Art Museum is free, but there is a charge for parking in the museum lot. There are lots of spots below the museum campus if you want to save money and get some exercise!
